Taking a social media break until the new year. My best friend does this every year and says it is great for mental health and refocusing on life, so I’m giving it a go. Happy holidays folks. Try to make the world a better place for everyone, especially the poor and powerless. ❤️

A woman shouted for him to release the Epstein files, and they hauled her out.

There's no ICE accountability without ending qualified immunity.

They're murdering people. There won't be justice for the lives they've stolen, but there must be accountability.

My bill with @markey.senate.gov would ensure families can sue the agents murdering their loved ones.

Has anyone been able to identify the “if you raise your voice, I erase your voice” agent?

Because that’s someone who, for public safety, should be named and identified and warned about.

Trumpists believe that America is the greatest country in the history of the world because of our liberty and you deserve to die if you exercise that liberty.

They are human in a manner of speaking, I guess.

This is your regular reminder that the data broker industry must be destroyed.
2. ICE is buying your private location data from sleazy data brokers through a legal loophole. I've had a bill to stop this since 2021. I'm renewing my push to get it passed into black letter law as soon as possible.

This is terrifying

I do t even understand how this is legal since medical records are supposed to be confidential - even from the government.

This is not only going to impact patient care but will prevent those at greatest need from seeming care until it’s too late.

One simple thing Senate Democrats could demand is: ICE agents cannot under any circumstances be masked.

(No, that is not the only thing. No, that is not enough. Yes, I want ICE abolished. Yes, I know "they won't" is a distinct possibility. I hope that saves some of you some time.)

The Democratic senators must call a vote of no confidence in @schumer.senate.gov , he is catestrophiclly failing as a leader. Then filibuster the appropriations bill. @murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov for the love of #$DEITY please DO SOMETHING
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.

Over and over again, Chuck Schumer has shown that he is too weak to meet the moment.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Are you listening @murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov @schumer.senate.gov ? Show a spine and do whatever it takes to stop this.
Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.
