This guy tries to perfume the Bag Vile Bag of Bullshit. They cut $150B out of the Medicaid funding (hospitals, nursing homes, affordable health care premiums) - then after the screaming outcry, "put back" $50B. Alford sits there expecting an atta'boy as he lies his ass off. Shameless assholes.

All the Republican Reps. have exactly the same script. Even though they cut $150,000,000,000 from healthcare, they are now saying they PUT $50,000,000,000 into healthcare in the "big beautiful bill.'

What they actually did was CUT a net $100,000,000,000 from healthcare, esp. rural health systems.

And they cut $155B from rural hospitals and gave back $50B! That's not a grant of 50B, is a cut of 105B!

What a liar 🤥:

There was a $911 billion reduction in Medicaid spending, which is expected to lead to many rural hospitals facing difficulties and potential closures. The temporary $50 billion rural health fund included in the bill does not offset the total losses, leaving rural healthcare at risk.
