Or, again, as mentioned, how there's sometimes stuff missing (eg: Turok 3 lacking the multiplayer; N64 Quake 2 on the Quake 2 one lacking the secret level you get from beating it), and it's like, is it really "exact"?

Like, when the Heretic+Hexen one came out a while back I saw some folk mention that they had done some alterations to the level designs, and at that point it's like... how "exact" of a recreation is it really?

I forgot about the similar comments for Platinum...

But yeah, it's why I'm not 100% on remasters and such in recent years, cuz of those sorts of alterations that are never specified; in the case of Nightdive's some folk have pointed some out recently, but not to a wide extent.
