koshiro and kawashima were heavily influenced by the electronic scene in Detroit, they've each implemented bits and pieces of it here and there but SoR3 is when that comes out in full force

Playing Link's Awakening DX again and heavily feeling this old post of mine

The entrance to Key cavern in Link's Awakening X consisting of statues along the bottom with a keyhole you need to use to open the dungeon, but also blocking off the dungeon entrance forcing you to go all the way around after using the key

Twitter post saying "Florida is literally hell" showing that it takes a full hour to wind around complicated bridges to cross a river to a location that's very close to where you start. The smart and handsome Khayyaam makes an apt comparison by saying "Florida got that gameboy Legend of Zelda overworld design"

only bad reviewers whine about these "be grateful" types takes cause they know they can't address actual counterarguments to save their life

not even a fan of persona (only good game is ultimax) but 99.9% of "oh my opps are saying I need to be grateful for mid" subtweets are usually just mfs trying to deflect any critiques of their critique by cherrypicking easy counterarguments

wife arm game's p good, kinda crazy how bionic commando managed to solve the "skip neutral and grapple straight to the enemy" problem other games have by having enemies deliver a highly damaging shock through your grappling hook if you try to grapple them in neutral
