sonic racing crossworlds DLC idea where the devs add both Chaos (sonic adventure) and Jack Garland (final fantasy origin) to the game
whenever they're near each other - you can notice jack garland screaming out censored curse words at chaos (guest characters have no voicelines after all)

We put an Ö in the name of our Ouya game and it crashed their entire backend server three times before we figured out what was going on and had to rename the game

I feel like it's probably not a good idea to use an "&" symbol in a game title for various reasons (formatting, search, unforeseen store system stuff?), but I'm curious if anyone has a game name with an ampersand and has advice or examples on whether it was a problem or not. #gamedev #indiedev

last night i downloaded this random ROM hack for Taiko no Tatsujin on the 3DS (the drum rhythm game, for the unfamiliar) and for some reason one of the very first songs in it was Buddy Holly by Weezer

taiko no tatsujin is like the DOOM of rhythm games: if any piece of digital hardware made after 2000 has ≥4 buttons or a touchscreen, namco will port the drumming game to the system
not that I'm complaining tho, I'm enjoying the 2nd DS release

I would say ridge racer V is a good racing game (probably my favorite ridge racer entry) but the racing in the game is pretty bad solely because any type of car collisions are severely punishing
I understand why wall collisions are punishing but I don't think you should apply that to the cars

feels like I'm still some ways from a clear because I need to die less in multiple spots but man... good feeling game. four stage bullet hell shmup where a full winning run is ten minutes. all killer no filler
