This is the hardest I have seen any member of Congress work to try and address transphobia in Congress, and her ability to get nearly all Democratic lawmakers to sign onto this letter is something any first would applaud

Had the opportunity today to hold an event with the fantastic Mayor and Council in Salt Lake City - they added the sego lily to the pride and trans flags to get around a state ban, along with a lot of other hard work.

This Transgender Awareness Week, we celebrate trans young people. Trans & intersex are different - trans people have a gender other than that assumed at birth, & intersex people are born with variations in reproductive anatomy. Some people are both! Regardless, we will find our freedom together.
