i don't care if your content is good or enriching to my life. if you turn off replies, you're muted and/or blocked. this is not your platform to talk at me and promote your #personalbrand; it's mine to harangue you.
hilarious that my writing, muscles for it atrophied as they are, was as suppressed by twitter as it was. 1.5 weeks since deletion and it's the most my stupid little site has been paid attention since 2016.

(sidenote: bluesky is methadone because I'm like 80% less addicted--posts suck here)

sorry to my friends employed in the field, but it's still true if we remove "bri'ish" from the below
British journalists are addicted to X because even though the views and likes are fake, the numbers under their posts give them the feeling that someone is reading their opinions, which is not a sensation accessible at any British newspaper

purity tests are tools to enforce ideological cohesion and virtue signaling is internet bullshit that didn't exist before tumblr blogs and reactions to them. i think establishment libs, correctly, identify that purity tests are dangerous to them, and don't give a shit about virtue signaling vs them.

nothing unpredictable about a libertarian ideology. "heterodox" might be a better word.
January 10, 2026 at 12:35 PM
nothing unpredictable about being a libertarian shithead.
Seeing some misinterpret this as me predicting Gov Polis won't pardon Tina Peters. No such prediction. Just saying he's long said he'd give her standard clemency consideration.

Polis has always been unpredictable because he operates outside many usual Dem alliances/incentives

The way to scare libertarians about the ICE shooting is to ask them to imagine: what if that was you dropping off your girlfriend at her elementary school?

Shri Thanedar is a total slimeball opportunist with no core beliefs, so it's encouraging that this is where he thinks the wind is blowing
The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

what a fucking melvin
Gov. Polis tells CBS that Tina Peters’ sentence was “harsh” and that he’s considering requests to grant her clemency.

There were real concerns among other elected officials that Polis would release Peters. This gives credence to those fears:

A pro-union bill that has pitted Gov. Jared Polis against every Democratic lawmaker and Colorado’s major labor groups is set to return to the Capitol this year, as the focus begins to turn toward two men hoping to next occupy the governor’s office.
Democratic lawmakers will resurrect vetoed labor bill with an eye toward Colorado’s next governor

yes, that is the correct reaction to the people, Democrats and Republicans, who made all of this possible by creating and continuing to fund our neo gestapo. flip them off!

I remember Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama sleeping through the Hortmans, to both give heartfelt condemnation of violence in regards to Charlie Kirk mere hours after he died. and Look! The dumbfuck twins back fast asleep when its not a fascist being murdered.

Fun thing about studying history is knowing that CHUDs are waiting for moments like this to flip the Jakarta Method switch while on the other hand if you do nothing you run the risk of losing face with your constituency like the old guard of the IRA after Bloody Sunday

Already seen quite a few posts crying about people mentioning Palestine at protests against ICE last night. If only the two things were related.
This is what many of us have been saying for years now, that the Israeli genocide is the same thing as cops in the US is the same thing as cops anywhere. Israel and the US in a closed feedback loop testing the boundaries and giving each other permission back and forth, liberal and conservative alike
This is my blood
