best ending of all time, let's be real
I was late to the party but I Saw The TV Glow's ending really got me in ways most movie endings do not anymore. Just thinking about it afterwards more so then I would typically for any movie.
what’s the best movie ending of the decade so far?

That being said, if you have a game that you were scared to launch in May of 2026, now's the time to batten down the hatches.
GTA 6 has to be a total and utter mess. There's just no way that after like 10+ years, they needed to extend 6 extra months from a date that's currently 7+ months out otherwise.
As always, the Game Awards fail.
EXCLUSIVE on @gamedeveloper.bsky.social: not only has The Game Awards not nominated a Future Class for 2025, it's told alumni it "does not have any active programming plans" for the award.

The Future Class page was taken down sometime this year—eliminating a definitive archive of honorees.
The Game Awards' Future Class program remains on ice
Future Class organizer Emily Weir has informed past honorees that The Game Awards has no active plans for the program.

What if 5 fail?
David Sacks says there will be "no federal bailout for AI", as the US has at least five major AI companies and "if one fails, others will take its place" (Ashley Capoot/CNBC)

This is one of those things I remember ads for but absolutely never tried. It just does not seem appealing.

I understand why some people's names (Key for instance) will come up for some of the bigger schools. The reality though is that, a lot of the benefits of going to those schools are not nearly what they were even 3-5 years ago. If you have good enough boosters, almost any school can compete.
You should make an idle tree planting growing game where you are trying to create more oxygen by planting more trees. I can guarantee you I will play it.
You talking about Turbo?
Companies look to eliminate the the jobs they have defined as the "least valuable" while wildly misinterpreting the value they actually hold. They are trying to use non-exist tech to replace something that a computer can't do: think of outlandish ways to break something.
When I was growing up it felt like QA tester was an entry level role that could teach you so much about the industry as your skills matured and you moved up the ladder.

Seeing that career path essentially wiped out by corporate use of AI really sucks.

As it is often said: the fact that any games come out and function is a minor miracle.
Everything about making video games is harder than you think.
I think one part of college football that's made is so successful is history but it's also what leads to a lot of delusions. Teams previous success or history, no matter how badly people want it to, do not define individual seasons where the team is outright bad.
The main problem with corporations is that impotent unknowing idiots work their way through the corporate ladder by sucking up and snitching but know less and less about what they're doing. The further you go in many of these companies knowledge matters less then your loyalty
That article about all the ways companies fail had multiple people discussing how little those in charge understood game dev, scope or anything at all. This happens all the time across industries. Bosses want people in their pocket that then move all the way up without knowing anything.
My kid wanted to watch the Outsiders the other day and it is literally only on Tubi. The ads were wild. Literally in 2 of the most climatic scenes it just randomly inserted car insurance ads. Really killed the flow
I will make a post with graphics but is my first night streaming in....years? I'll be streaming for Game Over, T1D!

9:30-11 EST. Come one, come all. This stream will probably be a bit all over the place but I have some cool stuff planned this month.
One weird side effect of the last few years is this strange bagged pickle growth
