The Home Office doesn't lose as many asylum & deportation cases as it does because of some supposed marginal differences between the application of Art 8 in UK courts and the ECtHR view, it loses so many cases because it's caseload has long been woefully mismanaged...

Agreed. At @lawforchange.uk in 2 years we have funded 15 cases against the Home Office. 6 still pending. Of 9 resolved, 7.5 went in favour of applicants.

It’s not really “Human Rights” that trips them up, but rather their constant failures to follow their own procedures.

Also frankly I am quite desperate! A party that’s at best ambivalent on the question of whether I’m English and wants to deport my friends is 9 points ahead in the polls and the current leader is floundering and visibly out of his depth!

In case it needs restating, autism isn't caused by Tylenol, or vaccines, or woke parents or whatever. It's not a disease, and it doesn't need curing. Eugenicists and fascists love to think of ways to eradicate us because they are unwilling to understand us. But we will outlive them.

i feel like labour saying "they can't do it to EU citizens" and not say anything reassuring about non-eu people on visas is not a thing to be chilling out about tbh. like ok cool, it "doesn't cover all foreign born nationals". what about the rest of them?

Yes, you can and should argue that Reform’s new policy would lead to an economic crash that could resemble a full-on depression, not just recession.

But you should also be able to straightforwardly say it’s *wrong*. Not that it should matter but: It’s not even bad politics to say that!
