...it's time for my next Minecraft series! Premiering Thursday, so those without plans have somewhere to hang, and everyone else has a VoD to look forward to if your Thanksgiving gets heated❤️‍🔥

~Art & Minecraft will return Sundays evenings~
Luci Ferrous's streaming schedule, for November 24-30. The schedule is all in CDT time. It shows Coffee Talk on Tuesday the 25th, 3pm to 6pm; on Thanksgiving Thursday the new Minecraft series from 4pm to 8pm; and on Sunday the 30th more art & minecraft from 3pm to 8pm! The streaming schedule is imposed over a stack of books, with floating tags that mark which day of the week each stream will take place. The stack of books is on a woodgrain desktop, with a red felt pad to protect it from scratches. The background is a wood-paneled office, with a coke bottle-glass windows for a clerk to work from. There are shelves full of books and scrolls, visible through the glass. Where usually there is a fire brazier in the foreground with a magical green-orange flame burning within, there is instead a steaming hot roast turkey. And in the windows behind it, the silhouettes of 3 people impatient and waiting for their servings of turkey.

screenshot of a tumblr post from user “wildmansters” The thing that really boils my potatoes about Al in general is that I have been a creative professional for over a decade now and the devil has ALWAYS been in the details. Big and small, I've had single-person businesses rip me to shreds over how their colors turned out on newsprint, and have worked with huge companies with THICK brand guidelines with every detail of their brand identity laid out and enforced with an iron fist. But I guess all of that stuff doesn't matter anymore? Who gives a fuck if this Al generated baby has six fingers, that mom-and-pop shop is still going to use it. That rug from Temu says Happy Thanksgivirg? Oh well haha it's just a silly funny thing now (nevermind that you never would have given a B-grade item from a craft show the same consideration). I don't actually care that the Al Coca-cola ad has a truck that changes size every scene, but I can't help but think about how, if it had been some poor underpaid artist, they would have been laughed out of the building. I don't really know how to put it in a succint way but it just feels all the more obvious how much more grace and flexibility has always been possible but never offered.

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.
