#Labor promised streaming regulation & local content requirements at the 2019, 2022 & 2025 elections but still haven't delivered.
Intl streaming platforms have all but abandoned commissioning AU stories because the Govt doesn't require them to.
Yet more evidence of another broken promise by #Labor

AU screen industry has shrunk by 60% since 2022, threatening 55K jobs across film, tv, post-prod & exhibition.
We are calling on Tony Burke, & Anthony Albanese, to deliver on their commitment & legislate that intl streaming platforms invest in AU stories by 30 June 2026

The "Albanese issue" is in fact part of the bigger issue of the Duopoly - and that is the real issue

If voters lack the courage to confront the Duopoly and remove it totally from our body politic then we are NEVER going to have a democracy and a society that acts for Australians or Australia
