Science is not truth.
Science is finding the truth.

When science changes its opinion, it didn't lie to you. It learned more.

All of Congress has a responsibility to step up and stop this US capitulation to Russia!! Now!
Republican Senators need to step up here. It seems like Mitch McConnell has started to. We need to hear from many others.

A different perspective on the Trump-Putin "Peace Plan" to end the Ukraine conflict, as if applied to Venezuela.

Maybe he's referring to "disapproval" numbers?
At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a heteromultivalent nanogel capable of killing some of the most dangerous bacteria known to medicine- with over 99.9% effectiveness against P. aeruginosa. It also showed strong antibacterial effects against other major threats, including E. coli and MRSA.

As soon as he assigned it to himself, I knew that what little chance the case had of surviving was dead.

I agree. Why wouldn't there also be transcripts of Witkoff's actual conversations with Putin himself?

Such classic gaslighting it's an instructive moment. The question is not whether generic is better or worse, it's that a list with more expensive brand names is not the same as a list with cheaper generics. Perverting that truth into an attack on those calling it out is Manipulation 101.
Hassett: "On one of the Sunday shows, the anchor criticized the fact Walmart said the Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper by about $10. Then he said, 'Oh yeah, but they substituted generic stuff,' as if having a generic something is a crime for ordinary folks! It shows how out of touch these people are."

Do you understand now that Axios - being fed the doc from Kremlin as a "Trump Plan" was the source of RU propaganda? Nothing is done for free or out of good will either.

A cynic might say that Trump is planning to drop this in the lap of the next Administration with no plan to continue.

What apparently everyone except Senate Democrats understands is that the survival of Democrats, perhaps literally, depends on Trump hitting Ceaușescu levels of unpopularity.

This goal is not helped if Senate Democrats do anything at all to reduce the harm Trump is inflicting on the American people.

So Putin is weak, and instead of finishing him off, and helping Ukraine, and the world, Trump is throwing him a lifeline?
Ukraine relations get even more chaotic. Two factions - Kushner/Witkoff and Vance/Driscoll - are both freelancing to set US policy: cutting out the State Dept, pushing Ukraine to surrender, then leaking to press to claim they are official. Why? Putin is desperate and has called in his assets. A 🧵 1/

Trump is a traitor and the worst of America.

All in all, let’s note one important factor - Russia, the murderer and agressor, was not asked or pressured to consider, and as a result, has not even slightly indicated ANY interest in just peace or ceasefire.

That is THE bottom line.

If the 28-point plan came from Russia and somehow ended up in the hands of U.S. lawmakers, then we don’t have a “leak” problem we have a foreign influence problem. And anyone downplaying that should not be anywhere near national security decisions.

I've long thought that this would make the most sense.

Of course, it would require amending the Constitution. Which is fine, but a really heavy lift. One thing, and I'm sure there are many others, is that we'd have to have an agreed upon date by which we'd stop counting and freeze the totals.
I think this is a fairly easy fix. Get rid of the winner takes all and apportion electoral college votes per state based on popular vote percentage.
