Thank you! Wishing you the best, the wildlife does seem to love sweet potatoes almost as much as we do! Hard to blame them!

Harvested my sweet potatoes today! Was really pleased with the output after having a pathetic turnout for my regular potatoes. Also tried some stir-fried sweet potato leaves, they weren't bad! Wish me luck on the curing process!

Today’s City of St. Louis Planning Commission meeting includes a presentation & public hearing on the draft “Sustainability & Climate Plan.”

Testify via Zoom or in-person at 1520 Market St. The #PlanCommSTL is not live-streamed on YouTube.

Let’s see how the Midtown data centers fit in the plan. 👀

K-Pop Demon Hunters is legitimately the global cultural phenomenon of 2025 and honestly there are far worse things to be a cultural touchstone this year than a trio of young women fighting literal soul-sucking hegemony through the power of their art

Important line in the story, of the US president: "...[H]is pro-Israel message sometimes appears aimed more at his conservative and evangelical Christian supporters than at American Jews, who he has complained are insufficiently appreciative of his positions on the Middle East."

Most Jews say Israel is committing war crimes — and 39 percent say genocide — while often distinguishing between the country and its leadership.

Trump admits Project 2025 was always the plan.

Of course it was. So many of us warned that he lied.

The word “autism” was first used to describe behavioral differences in children in 1911 but autism has been documented using available records going back to the 1700s (definitively) and further.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol, paracetamol) was discovered in 1878 and first sold in the United States in 1950.

A program in Flint, MI, gave $1,500 to any/all pregnant people and $500/month for the first year of their infant’s life.

Among the benefits, those babies experienced lower rates of prematurity and low birth weight, which resulted in fewer NICU admissions, saving the city of Flint $6.2 million/year.

~40% of Hepatitis B infections are caught in childhood. It is contagious enough that it can be spread just from sharing common household objects.

The chance of chronic infection (ie does not clear, and is associated with high rates of liver failure and cancer) ranges from 50%-90% in this age group.
