Oh and one final thought: This is also the most nefarious thing the Right does to make themselves *seem* like they're somehow fighting for something. They take a kernel of 'truth' and then blow it up and throw on a bunch of BS and lies to then redirect people's energy into their actual focus.

I saw the CEO of Google telling us that we all just gotta adjust as AI destroys jobs and whatnot.

Having read up more on the Kaceytron v Klein situation, I feel that this move was done less for her sake and more for his own. I believe that she was telling the truth talking about her disabled family members and her streaming helps support them. So going off of that...

Namely that we'd start seeing AI generated videos of things people never said being passed off as real, while real videos would be claimed to be "AI" whenever someone got called out for something awful they said/did.

Something I wish more folks understood is that when the RW talks about 'waste' 'fraud' or 'corruption', they are not speaking about these things because they disagree with them. They are talking about these things because they see them as competition. They see it as themselves 'losing out'.
