It’s crazy how guilty I feel for taking up hiking as a hobby since it takes me away from my family for hours at a time. Need to adopt a man’s attitude on it I guess.
Fuck Aziz and anybody who didn’t realize he sexually assaulted that woman.
I’m still not over the majority response to the Aziz Ansari thing. The way it had even “feminists” saying “well that was just a bad date.”

No!!!! She told him to stop multiple times and he didn’t!!! It was textbook sexual assault!!!
I may have gotten myself an early birthday present.
Nothing is funnier than watching conservative women beg the men on their side to see them as people and watching the comments go exactly the way you think they would. Dumb bitches they hate you!
Weathers looking good for IAT segment #5 this Saturday.
Gonna live the luxury life of a woman on vacation in Las Vegas while her husband conferences in a month. Just booked a massage and am about to book myself an AYCE since my husband isn’t a big eater.
That’s so cool! Some of the southern segments aren’t too far from Illinois.
Got I hate this ugly cunt.
Jfc. Her islamophobia is off the charts. One of her Insta stories is a Londoner talking about Sadiq Khan imposing no-go zones and sharia courts in London.
Honestly baffled why some millennial parents feel so incensed with “6-7” We’re adults now so we’re not supposed to get it, think it’s stupid and then appropriate it to the point the youth think it’s lame and move on to the next nonsense. It’s been this way forever.

They got the wrong old white fuck.
A high school friend of mine did it when we were 26. She kept a blog I’ve been rereading. Since she’s done it they’ve added another 200 miles of trail. She had to do so much road walking which I am finding awful.
I think this is the only one officially! But yes, the trail generally follows the edge of the most recent glacier in Wisconsin. There’s tons of cool geologic features the glacier left behind so it’s some of Wisconsin’s most beautiful scenery.
I honestly want to take a leave of absence at my job and do this as a thru hike. I’m so bummed it’s almost winter because I won’t hike through snow.
Saw a big ass maple tree, 15 turkeys crossing the road, snuck up on a buck & 2 doe, watched the buck run across the river, met a barn cat that tricked me into thinking I could pet it and the view from atop a ridge into farms fields. Did about 2 miles of walking thru farm fields.
Only one segment had a nice sign. One was just street signs. Walking by the river was my favorite part. It was so peaceful and full of golden leaves. I love hiking thru a carpet of reds & oranges & yellows.
I had a small blister starting from my hike sat. so I dressed it really good w moleskin & used a special knot to tie my heels into place so my feet didn’t slide. Post hike I discovered another blister had formed on the side of my big toe. Didn’t feel it during the hike and wasn’t painful post hike.
I was going to wait to post until tomorrow to see if I really defeated DOMS but I did it! East Twin River and Mishicot, my first trail community. Stopped for lunch at a diner, food was meh but it was fun. Did 9.9 miles total, 5 were IAT miles. It was pretty flat so I was able to do a 20min/mi pace.
Gonna see if I can knock out segments #3 and 4 today. stay tuned to find out which ones. IAT
Also am completely obsessed because I’m already looking at the North Country trail which is 4400 miles from ND to NY.

IAT segment #2 completed. I spooked a big white tail buck but didn’t get a pic. Also saw a bow hunter which made me put on my brightly colored hat. Will remember blaze orange next time. Lots of up & down. Cool stone staircase. Lots of ridges and fall color.
I’m officially obsessed with hiking and am looking for a short segment to do tomorrow. I don’t think I’ll do much winter hiking so I want to get as much in as I can.
Getting ready to head over to my 2nd ice age trail segment. I’ll be a 1000 miler in no time! I’ve got about an hour drive. Doing it solo as C had too much yard work he wanted to do. I never envisioned this being something we do completely together & I’m pumped to do it by myself.
