The new Centre for Indigenous Laws at UVic just opened. The building is a direct response to Truth and Reconciliation Call to Action 50, which called for the establishment of Indigenous legal institutes.

I’m fully behind the idea of universal basic income, not because I think “AI” should or will take over every job, but because everyone deserves enough money to live regardless of ability or desire to work. People will still work, and they’ll do a way better job at it because their needs are met
