DJ Kranic is a Vancouver based DJ who’s been part of a vicious smear campaign against a few accounts on Threads run by Black women. I tried talking to them about their behaviour and ended up having to block them. This is not ok. If you know them please tell them they’re dangerous to Black women!! 🤬

My daughter made these two ceramic pieces in high school and I love them so much. I used her Jack Skellington 🎃 as the model to carve one of our pumpkins yesterday. Halloween is my favourite.

I’m hosting a Halloween wine club tonight and I’m already exhausted. Pumpkins carved, flower arrangement made, pumpkin seeds roasted, pumpkin-shaped sourdough baked, wines chilling, wine note displays written out, bags of ice purchased. Now to clean up and finalize my costume. Then it’s nap time!! 🎃

I put out a call to my neighbourhood last weekend for items to help unhoused people in our city. So far I’ve been given five sleeping bags, four raincoats and a tent. I wish our city did more to help the housing crisis but our mayor is deep in the pockets of rich developers.
