So this is really old but it's something I'm kinda proud of and showcases how I like to interpret FFVII. Also it's finally nearing 1k views!

To folks who have been using the pronouns labeler and saw that your pronouns were gone: don't worry it wasn't you. The owner of the labeler was revealed to be a massive asshole who made a bunch of offensive posts and deleted after getting caught

Was walking around Seoul last night with a friend and found this place! We didn't try it but I am definitely curious, being a Michigan girl and all.

Note that this is local police not ICE or CPD attacking these young people. Local police are working overtime to distance themselves from ICE/CPD. Don't buy the hype.
I feel like Los Angeles is a place where people expect ICE to happen because the kidnappings have been happening to my home city for decades, so there’s less media attention to it now. and I want folks to see that in LA, Latine students are organizing major protests & the police are attacking them

LAPD arrested at least two teenagers protesting ICE raids in Los Angeles yesterday. They were also seen corresponding with ICE agents on Alameda Street during the demonstrations.

Very proud of my brain children.
So I've been working on this for several days and it's not everything I wanted it to be but I'm still very proud of it. These are my original characters in my story titled Echo Nox. Please love my babies. I hope to share them more often.

The Wright Museums Instagram page is HILARIOUS. Think The Office but it's the staff at a Museum for Black History. Better believe this is on my list of places to visit.

Gale is actually much less frustrating in the books than the film, it has to be said. Coming from a person who has not ever liked Gale (and had previously only ever seen the films).

I still don't like him, but I can at least sympathize with him as a character whereas before I just plain hated him.

The word don't is censored. Don't, or Don T. If you're looking for just some fun proof they're doing control+f censoring

I've been in this fandom long enough to know that when the LTD... enthusiasts are crying that it's been "solved" they are actually stuck in a time loop, doomed to relive the same delusion over and over again.

An Oklahoma small business is suing the state over laws that ban people from selling caskets unless they’re licensed funeral directors, even if they’re not providing funeral services at all. These kinds of restrictions don’t protect consumers, they protect profits.

Context: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday.

It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

When you make the cops and Feds work harder to do the work of criminalizing and harassing people, you reduce their capacity to criminalize and harass everyone. And that means some people they might have bothered will be left alone. That’s a victory. Not total, but important.

Of course there are cops and Feds infiltrating and filming but the point isn’t that we can totally prevent criminalization.

The point is that we shouldn’t make it easier for them.

Part of our job is to make it harder for them to harass and criminalize protestors. Make them work harder.
