Food simply going in your inventory as a generic item was the most disappointing thing about CP2077 and I say that as someone who played the day one version on PS4
I hope that the cyberpunk 2077 sequel adds more depth to the restaurant/food mechanic, where when you go to a restaurant and order something from the menu, instead of it going in your inventory, you see your player character sit down and eat, and they go “hoho” like Kiryu in Yakuza
