Ohhhh I really do need 8+ hours of sleep per night, healthy routines, a balanced diet, regular exercise and predetermined moments of reflection and grounding in order to feel Joy huh. I thought everyone was kidding around about those things

Working on a Game of the Year list for 2025 has reminded me just how great this year was for games. It's weird that nearly every game in my top 10 this year was a major release but the Top Dogs really delivered in 2025 imo. I'll post an honorable mentions soon (always looking for recs)

Ball x Pit has consumed my every thought. Excellent Brick Breaker inspired roguelite based around synergy. For me, it falls just a bit short of Slay The Spire and Balatro as an all-time great in the genre, but damn man this game is excellent. Buy it!!!!
