From the sneering goblins on the back of his wrists, the fanged beast on his one pauldron, to his helmet, a 15th century sallet made to look like a goblin face with long flat tusks on the visor, which is lifted slightly. Two small yellow eyes peer out of the darkness inside the helmet.

Social media was so different then! And combined with moving away from the city and covid, I can't help feel like I lost everything that had kept me connected and successful.

We only get a smattering of trick or treaters every year, but see postings for "trunk or treats" where a bunch of people gather in a parking lot and hand out candy from their cars.

It reeks of "tHe cITy isN't SaFe" but also suburban neighborhoods insulating themselves within... themselves???

A few weeks before, my cousin visited with some of their friends who were in DC and I was like "Oh, you should check out this show"
