My father is 70 years old and worked on The Hill for 38 of those years, and I'm still teaching him shit about politics. But at least he's somewhat teachable and ain't nobody depending on his ass for important information.
one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

Mine do. It's always been synonymous for me. But passion does not even equal passion for a lot of people. It's way too easy disguise manipulation as passion or obsession. That's why you have pay more attention to the WHO than the WHAT.
Passion does not equal love. Just because someone throws strong emotions at you, does not mean they care.
