It’s catastrophic that a security breach of this size and significance could occur at the MoD under the Conservatives’ watch, putting lives at risk.

Keir Starmer must launch a full public inquiry and ensure no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of answers.

Let's be absolutely clear what the Government's 'concessions' to the Welfare Bill mean:

If you currently have a condition like Parkinsons or MS then you will get support to wash and cook for yourself. But someone diagnosed next year gets nothing.

This is just utterly appalling.

Generally supportive of Stephen’s comments, but public parks should be public and presumption you live in a Georgian house is irrelevant ( most of us don’t ). Disappointing that comments are disabled by a journalist.

An inevitable consequence when we left the EU unfortunately
My take on today’s UK-US trade deal. The UK is a small weak country. It does what small weak countries do, which is to escape the bully, to pay the Dane-geld.

Standing up for the multilateral rules-based trading system will have to be left for others.
Britain’s trade deal with Trump may not be good news for the world

I couldn’t agree more.

“It is genuinely absurd to have an election with that kind of spread decided by first past the post. Unjustifiable.”
For for the West of England mayoralty More in Common have:

Lab: 23%
Con: 21%
Reform: 18%
Green: 18%
LD: 15%

It is genuinely absurd to have an election with that kind of spread decided by first past the post. Unjustifiable.
UPDATED post:

I've added new mayoral polling from YouGov and More in Common to my comprehensive local elections preview post. And I've also changed a few predictions for councils.
