I never ended up finishing the game, but I watched the movie last night and it was pretty cool. The submarine looking near 1:1 from the game did make the whole thing feel off in a way though. I guess it made it feel too much like a literal adaptation.
I was feeling more tired as I was playing, until I crashed into a wall in the narrow tunnel after the fifth point and fucking jumpscared myself.
I went to go sleep early to try and fix my sleep schedule, but even though I felt tired earlier, I just couldn't sleep, so I went back online, and I guess I'll get some food and play through Iron Lung again.

Well, the shooter was transgender. I bet that means I’m going to be hearing from my own country about how trans people somehow commit 90% of all shootings for the next three fucking years now.
I knew when the shooter was confirmed to be a woman that some people would have a bunch of bullshit to say about this, but actually I didn't expect just flat-out lying about the shooter being transgender.
Apparently this the second worst shooting in Canadian history; 10 dead and 27 injured. The last shooting that came close to this one happened in 1989.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
