I cannot emphasize enough how dangerous it is to dismantle our disease surveillance infrastructure.

I’m glad you posted this thread - really appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Just bc decentralization allows us to pick up and move if Bluesky changes values, etc. doesn’t mean it’s easy or desirable.

There’s an opportunity to deepen community with this particular expression of a shared space.

- MTHFR variants don't prevent you from being able to use folic acid
- We don't know how folic acid works to prevent neural tube defects (NTDs); we simply know it does. (1/7)

The term “autism” was first used in the 1910’s and more widely adopted in 1930’s/1940’s (due to Asperger/Kanner).

Paracetamol (Tylenol) was not introduced on the market in the US until the 1950’s.

Paracetamol in pregnancy has not been proven to cause autism in multiple major clinical studies.

Reportedly the Covid presentation includes data on as many as 25 child deaths following vaccination.
