i can't talk either, i fix eggs, turkey bacon, ground chicken burgers and other stuff and out my kitchen window enjoy the antics at my finch feeders and of the hummingbirds at the flowers i planted.

NY Times commenters my partner is annoyed with:

mansplainers on why OCTOBER 18 protest "won't work" or will be "a risk" because Big Brother is watching, blah blah blah.

Heard this before as far back as Vietnam war protests. Some are odder & sound like people who think about fallout shelters.

Mona's post-trump tune has changed, yes. There's probably a face she loves that's been eaten, or something. But instead of "the doom of the libs" she seems to be on to "a rose-colored glasses look at the fascists." Progress?

and on this point, i've appreciated translators when they provide notes on their 'richer' understanding of the language, and how they choose to translate important vocabulary.

And, i will always remember Bert Dreyfus challenging "state of mind" in *B&T* for *Befindlichkeit* or *they* for *Das Man*.

I'm so proud of everyone from my old neighborhood of Rogers Park in Chicago. I see what you have been and are doing. I am so proud of how organized the community is and how much more so everyone is becoming. It is inspiring. Just one example... And this is something EVERYONE can do. Everyone.
