A few years ago we wrote about infrastructures for wellbeing (doi.org/10.1093/ooih...) and found that we were way ahead of our time - @academic.oup.com regrettably pulled our new journal.

Why is nobody telling us how we are to adapt to biosphere breakdown, acidification of oceans and the deoxygenation of water? Why are these 3 consequences of rapid increase of CO2 ignored when the result, historically, has been mass extinctions. Genuine question?

I wish people understood how much unseen labor goes into every visible ounce of activism

and how much labor by so many people towards change is deliberately invisible and never meant to be known

The climate crisis is a choice. A powerful cabal, or corporate interests, oligarchs, and the very rich, have secretly decided, that the public will just have to put up with the impacts of climate change and are attempting to gaslight the public, using the corporate and oligarch controlled media.

In a collapsing biosphere, reconnecting habitats isn’t “nice”. It’s survival. Build more. Everywhere.

Perhaps because to decision makers public health= healthcare.
Seemingly concrete financial savings fit the accounting way of thinking better than nebulous benefits to health and wellbeing. Sounds more technocratic and gives sense of control. Intangibles harder to sell - a perpetual challenge.
