Today we remember the thousands of Americans who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor 84 years ago. Nearly half of those lost were aboard the USS Arizona, and I remember what a moving experience it was when Gabby and I visited the memorial. We’ll never forget their sacrifice.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

Realize how bizarre it is that we are learning key details of an ongoing, high-profile FBI investigation via leaks: first the arrest of the pipe bomb suspect, then details of his interview. It suggests an unprecedented effort to bypass official channels to push out the truth. That's a good sign. 1/
This is the third newsroom (at least) with an FBI leak about the suspect being a Trump supporter. Seems some FBI folks — presumably not the political hires —are very eager to get this out there.
BREAKING on MS NOW:

Brian Cole Jr., the suspect accused of being the Jan. 6 pipe bomber, confessed to agents that he planted the bombs and has indicated he supported President Trump, according to two people familiar with his interview.

With Cole, there were leaks - very deliberate ones - likely by mid-level FBI agents trying to establish the truth.

The EU should ban anything musk. If we ever get out congress and senate back they should ban musk,FB, and highly regulate AI into oblivion. Palantir should be disemboweled and all of their execs face asset forfeiture for the theft of personal and copyrighted materials.

However, the factual truth is that Musk’s ‘X’ operations were in violation of the 2022 EU Digital Services Act, which Musk knows (& knew) is EU Law. Not policy, LAW…

He was given ample opportunity to defend himself & to settle but he refused

Trump’s Justice Department is hellbent on accessing our private voter information—Social Security numbers, party affiliation, driver's licenses—resulting in what experts warn would be a gold mine for hackers.
Trump’s DOJ is building a voter purge machine—powered by your private data
The federal agency ordinarily would prevent attacks on voting rights. Now it’s carrying them out.

There is no alternative. We will not avoid "provoking" Trump by appeasing him. We have not provoked anything with Washington. Like Moscow, the corrupt, authoritarian, criminal bully is picking a fight. Like Putin, Trump WANTS the fight. We ignore reality at our great peril.

Russia Ukraine War: Ukrainian Sea Drones Have Successfully Thwarted Russia And Kyiv Is Preparing For Even Larger Attacks Next Year
Ukraine is planning more attacks on Russia by next year. This information was given by the Maritime Drone Operations Commander of Ukraine's military intelligence agency. He has said that more complex attacks are expected against Russia next year. He says that Ukraine's uncrewed drone fleet has already stopped the actions of Russia's Black Sea Navy to a great extent. The head of Ukraine's special maritime drone unit, Group 13, known only by the code name '13th', said that Russia had to change its strategy after their attacks.

Sadly, as far as I can tell - Trump securing peace was never really on the table. Giving up part of Ukraine to Russia, grabbing Ukrainian resources, and cruelly playing with Zelenskyy are, however, on the table.
