Life in Dad Land - tales of dementia from the inside

Dad is in his 80s, has a non-Alzheimer's dementia, and is otherwise healthy. He's been living with me since early 2020.

This is guaranteed to make smoke come out of Trump's ears. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has sued Trump alleging that he can't demolish the East Wing and erect his ballroom without congressional approval. TRO hearing in DC district court next Tuesday.

Co-credited with the creation of the Harvard Classification Scheme that organizes/classifies stars by their temperature & spectral type. She classified >300,000 stars & her system is still used today.

An Osprey dive bombing and Eagle which rolls over last minute, with talons up. Eagles constantly harass the Osprey, trying to steal the fish they've caught. They also, from time to time, steal young Osprey from the nest. NO love lost here!
2 birds in flight against a clear bright blue sky. The smaller bird at top has it's wings spread and the sun is shining on it's white breast feathers. The larger lower bird, an eagle, is upside down with it's talons up towards the Osprey. The eagle, a mature adult, has a white head & tail feather, the rest of it's plumage is chocolate brown.

I’ve heard from immigration attorneys that clients say ICE guards lay out the WRAP device (essentially a full-body straitjacket) on the tarmac as a threat — “do what we say or you’re getting the WRAP on the whole flight.”
