On May 11, 1950, while working on the Rawlins National Bank in Wyoming, a construction crew unearthed a whiskey barrel that contained a human skeleton with its skull cap sawed off & an odd pair of shoes. Dr. Lillian Heath, now in her 80s, was asked if she knew anything about it...🧵

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Just ran session 1 of our much-postponed Halloween RPG. The players are all YouTube ghost hunters, investigating an abandoned asylum. It's already going a bit Grave Encounters.

Just back from a few days in Amsterdam, helping one of my best friends celebrate the big 5-0. Saw Sinterklaas arrive by boat. Drank lots of (slightly pretentious) cocktails. Saw some herons at a fishmarket. Narrowly dodged lots of bicycles. Good times.
