Weird how the WaPo Editorial page has decided to take two shots in two days at Tim Walz, the same time Trump is saying racist things about Minnesotans.

Like it's some type of, IDK, coordinated effort or something.

Haha, oh sorry, I was on mute. I was saying I worry I’ve permanently worn down all the charming edges of myself that others didn’t like and I’ve become dull like a riverstone—and perhaps the only way to make new edges is to fragment into smaller and smaller pieces until nothing is left.

Judge Jerry Smith's dissent from the decision that Texas' redrawn congressional map is an unconstitutional racial gerrymander is now available.

And holy shit it goes hard.

So on Epstein, the Democratic position should be "Trump should resign." If you are a Democratic elected, practice saying "We demand the president's resignation" in front of a mirror as many times as it takes until the dry-heaving that comes from having a phobia about actually doing politics passes.

Joyce Carol Oates spits absolute BARS but also is 1000% incurably, irreparably addicted to Twitter.
We forgot she murdered Curtis Yarvin in cold blood last June.

Who could have predicted this?
New: The FBI is quietly urging ICE agents to properly ID themselves in the field.

In a bulletin to law enforcement last month, it warned of criminals posing as ICE to rob, rape, kidnap—a problem it says now demands national coordination to confront.

By me & @carolinehaskins.bsky.social:
FBI Warns of Criminals Posing as ICE, Urges Agents to ID Themselves
In a bulletin to law enforcement agencies, the FBI said criminal impersonators are exploiting ICE’s image and urged nationwide coordination to distinguish real operations from fakes.

Something about the ChatGPT television ad spots are just...off. The fact there's no "pitch" makes them feel menacing, like ChatGPT is inevitable, so no pitch is necesssary. Do not like.

Hey can you summarize the Battle of Midway in three sentences?
They lost because Yamamoto stunk and they didn’t hit. Decision was made not to use best relievers. Oh well.
The Dodgers punted yesterday’s game to set up for today. They did this 3 times in the postseason last year due to pitching issues and it worked.

But those were seven game series. Punting one in a five game series is not something I would have done but they were playing down a reliever so I get it.
