Trump’s not going to invade Venezuela within the next year because he doesn’t have anybody lined up to do it with. He’d need at least a couple divisions, and planning something like that takes months and involves all sorts of action by the Army or Marine Corps that hasn’t happened.

Worst thing about most mainstream coverage of the AI bubble is that they’re treating it like building industrial overcapacity rather than as an investment scam that dumb CEOs are falling for out of their desperate, greedy desire to diminish headcount.

There is a 100% chance Chat GPT was their co-conspirator and mastermind of the “plan.”
Gavin and Tanner, planned and trained for nearly a year, legal documents say, in an elaborate attempt to invade a Haitian island, kill its Black men, enslave its Black women and Black children and fulfill their "rape fantasies."

Nanobots taking drug mule jobs smh
Scientists have created a robot the size of a grain of sand that is controlled by magnets and can deliver drugs to a precise location in the body.

The capsule might also be useful in treating aneurysms and very aggressive brain cancers.
Robots in your bloodstream could deliver drugs with greater precision
Scientists in Switzerland are pioneering a way to precisely target drugs in the body using tiny devices controlled by magnets, a technique that could one day reduce unintended side effects.

Can’t wait to hear Stephen Miller screech about how woke the Ken Burns doc is because it mentions indigenous people, enslaved people, women, and how ethnically diverse the American colonies were compared to the rest of “Christendom.”

I assumed Patton was talking about Epstein, in which case it’s not a joking “death threat,” but rather a “desecration of a corpse” threat.

One reason I didn’t have more of a journalism career than I did was because I made less than no effort to befriend sources. I had actual friends, and when I left the office at the end of the day they were the only people I was talking to. Heck, I mostly didn’t like fellow journalists.

Hey, New Yorkers, is a candy store the same thing as a bodega, and if not, what’s the difference? My impression is that they’re both corner general-merchandise stores, sometimes with food.

Can you imagine the absolute shit fit the press would have thrown if Cheney had died last year and Biden had failed to say something about it and order the flags to half staff?

State-level Republicans may pause in their wrecking because of last night, but you know Trump and his goons are going to try to double and triple down on all their bullshit to try to get it in before there’s a Democratic Congress. I expect an even bigger anti-Trump voter backlash in 2026.

This is how much people hate the GOP right now. Two Democrats beat incumbent Republicans on the utility-regulating Georgia Public Service Commission by more than 20 points. The commissioners are appointed by the governor and then run for reelection. No Dem on the 5-person board since 2003.
