The EHRC has sent a new draft Code of Practice which would lead to the exclusion of trans people from public life.
The decision now is up to this government, will they sign a trans bathroom ban in secret?

The EHRC has sent a new draft Code of Practice which would lead to the exclusion of trans people from public life.

We did it in 2021 and others have organised protests as well. The community is very capable of organising a pride protest without Manchester Pride and without corporate sponsors.

It’s almost like the entire community warned them 🤷♂️
When we say that pride events must go back to their roots and serve the community first and foremost, not prioritise hetero pop stars from the 90s and groups of straight girls on a jolly; The Manchester Pride debacle is a prime example.
Amateurs...
It always ends up this way when organisers get too big for their boots and Pride starts to be a professional music festival with some gays stuck on the end.
Hopefully the bars will do their own thing next year and it'll be all the better for it.

We are working to regroup and be back for 2026. News to follow over the coming weeks. The community is taking back the parade from Manchester Pride and it will be a protest.
