this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people

I really find meaning in Clair Obscur's portrayal of individuals and groups whose personal circumstances are hopeless, but who fight their hardest anyway because the trail they lay will ensure those coming after can have a future. Every journal I find to that effect is really moving.

Don't train AI when you could simply influence and corrupt young people to become writers. You don't have to feed them lifetimes of stolen labor and algorithmic manipulation. You just have to instill a little hope.
