Hey, Media, speculators, deniers: come have a conversation with a #LongCovid person. Many of us wave 1 in 2020. It was all about hand-sanitizing, nothing about the air. Come hear us talk, losing every 2nd word, stringing sentences (not prison but kinda). Our brains stop to re-boot. The DISAPPEARED.
We know that covid can damage the brain. We don’t know how this will impact society. Governments need to change their pro infection approach to one of actively encouraging vaccines, ffp2 & rolling clean air. Instead of this we are allowing science fact to be obliterated by antiscience.

This is why I'm not always in a good mood, or able to function since 2020. It's one part of #LongCovid which our government ignores. "Get back to work". Practically every bullet here is also, if they bothered, a different GP referral to a different specialist. Many of us can barely walk.

This is part of a thread related to the economic Module of the ongoing #LongCovid Inquiry (UK). It hits a particular nerve for most of us - zero help or support. "Were" past tense is "Are" b/c 1000s of us remain unsupported, financially or medically. It's too late for some, lives upside down.

Noting that most sensible fair-minded people (and organisations) have quit X anyway. I have, like so many, don't miss it or the pervasive toxicity. Lawful or not, it's become pointless after Musk.
Two issues being conflated here: if UK government continue to use the X platform, it becomes imperative it should insist on that platform being lawful: govt slow to notice/acknowledge X is obvs in systemic breach of its legal duties: eg abusive racial slur "paki" + nonconsensual sexual harassment
