As someone with a lot of step siblings who were raised as siblings, the tendency for 00s RPGs and anime to go "we're not really related so let's fuck" is incredibly ick. Like, I struggle to think of any example where they go "hmm, maybe this isn't emotionally healthy?"

Based of the fallen Beetle brothers, Kuwagust and Herculious, an unknown scientist managed to make an experimental metal device that becomes an armor to its host. Somehow it fell to the hands of a high school kid.

I'm guessing this is something to do with Grandia properly using both of the video processors properly but I'm not going to pretend to be a clever person who can start talking about VDP1&2.

Anyway I kind of want someone who does good CRT photos to photograph the flamey dogs.

A thing I noticed (because I've yet to get far enough on the Saturn version of regular Grandia to see them) is that there are enemy sprites that do the famous Saturn dithering thing but also 3D effects on magic and the like that clearly use transparent/translucent layers.

It's kind of weird as well given that they tend to be full of really low quality work (I still enjoy them mind) but are guaranteed to be the single title of any given system that will never go for cheap.
