knowing many directly affected, I personally asked some senior male colleagues to speak out about this during my earlier years as a professor, as i felt too vulnerable due to my stage of career.. it was shocking how much this was 'common knowledge' among women and how few male colleagues knew 😔
More voices from those also affected by Miles Hewstone‘s behavior, hitting walls when trying to be heard. Katherine Griffiths from @bloomberg.com gave everyone a voice that can no longer be silenced.

I know several of the women who were harassed by this guy. They had real courage to testify. He engaged in serious professional retaliation against women.
This needs to end. I've seen how many people curry favor with known sexual harassers and how the worst can still manage to leap from job to job.
