Victory for wild camping at the Supreme Court!

The verdict is a relief– but Dartmoor remains the *only* place in England & Wales where the public has a right to wild camp

Labour must now pass a new right to roam act to defend & extend the public’s access rights

Astonishing evidence at the Covid Inquiry.

The Government repeatedly ignored offers from the Crick Institute to provide mass testing on a national scale.

Instead, the Government paid Deloitte consultants to project manage, not yet established, privately run labs.

I started my PhD in COVID and now I feel like I'm walking on land mines for postdoc funding sources. We're having a really difficult time right now, everything feels so uncertain. It's disheartening when you put so much work into something only for the field to fall apart at the finish line.
I feel terrible for early-career scientists who had to endure the COVID lockdown to start their careers, and now this funding bullshit from the Trump administration. 🤬

Thirty years of draconian anti-protest laws have led us to this.

Wanted: a civil society coalition - a social movement - to repeal these godawful, anti-English, unpatriotic laws.

I had hoped a certain Human Rights lawyer in No10 might agree.
