Somebody in our building keeps complaining to the front desk that we're too noisy and it sounds like we're having a party up here. But it's at times we're all sleeping. One time the front desk guy rang OUR doorbell and woke us up late at night to tell us to be quiet, and I was PEEVED.

We can spend $2 billion on this, $40 billion on bailing out Argentina, and MANY billions on killing people in other countries, but using tax dollars to make sure working class Americans have food and health care is apparently just too far.

As a SAHM, life can feel a little monotonous.
SO I decided on a whim to book a hotel in Taipei for two work nights a couple weeks from now. My husband will work during the day. I'll take kiddo out to do some things in the city that are harder to get around to now that we live further out.

I must have picked the WRONG weekend to make plans in Kaohsiung because it's like every hotel in the city is fully booked. Besides ones where the reviews say things like "I got bed bugs here" or "cool place if you like spooky partially-abandoned buildings."

That being said, I just heard someone say that one piece of evidence for a flat Earth is that if you put the letter "t" into NASA and then mix up the letters, you get Satan, which means NASA is trying to hide God's handiwork and drag people to hell.

I hate to admit it, but when I hear conspiracy theorists talk about their nutty ideas...I kinda get it on some level.
It's not like I dive into every wild conspiracy theory and believe it fully with zero evidence. But I do have a few tinfoil hats in my closet, ya know?
