If you read my stuff, you know I regularly go on about the Far Right being an interconnected, global threat that transcends borders.
Diplomatically unprecedented.

The German far-right opposition has reportedly been invited to Washington for an official strategy session with Republicans in the US Congress.
Large far-right German delegation to visit Washington, Trump ally says
The invitation to the capital comes as Alternative for Germany politicians seek to build closer ties to the U.S. government.

Trump is having his DOJ pay himself and his friends millions of dollars, and Republican Senators put a $500k payoff to themselves in the shutdown bill.

They’re stealing our tax dollars while telling you the mom on SNAP wanting to buy a box of cookies for her kids is the problem.

-We called them out. So did some Republicans. (Even @RepJohnRose)

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

The entire American experiment is based primarily on the mindless pursuit of wealth resulting in a culture of artifice where unremarkable people who were born or lucked into extreme privilege are treated like kings by armies of sycophants all rushing to the same trough?
Something that’s so striking in these emails is how…unimpressive Epstein is. He comes off as a pompous, sub-literate lech. Yes everyone is so mortifyingly solicitous of him! All fawning and flattery! Why?????

Emily, this entire thread is simply emphasizing that we have Moved Beyond the Need for the New York Times.

There is simply no way to reasonably defend their last decade of utter professional and ethical depravity.
As a former member of NYT’s finance team & the co-author of this story exposing the relationship between Epstein & Bill Gates as well as one on Epstein & JPMorgan, I am really frustrated to see people claiming that NYT sat on publishable info about Trump and Epstein 🧵 www.nytimes.com/2019/10/12/b...

Black units fought for this country at a time when they could return home and be lynched for wearing their uniforms.

This is what this country has never dealt with: racism. Plain and simple.
Removing a monument honoring Black US soldiers has nothing to do with DEI. It’s erasure of history and it’s straight-up racism.
