I had a surgery Tuesday.
It was not successful. It turned into exploratory surgery. I'll be following up Monday about our next steps.

Seeing how I live in the state closest to Venezuela, in a city that's an emergency military fall back zone in the case of a foreign attack, could we not. I like not having my city bombed or occupied by a sudden insurgence of US troops, fortifying the damn place.

Dismissing and minimizing the process, in any art, is partially what has led to widespread acceptance of AI generated art and writing.
When your focus is on the result, you are not partaking in art. You are a bystander.

Sometimes I wonder if our many years of jokes about writers hating writing and doing anything but writing, etc, have convinced people that the writing part is the hurdle and the goal is just to have a thing in hand. But I am here to tell you: the writing is the best part. The act is the thing.
