This is like those loosmaxxing forums where guys try to convince each other that punching themselves in the face is improving their bone structure.
A sentence from hell:
“people in SF are putting multi-agent claudeswarms in charge of their lives, consulting chatbots before every decision, wireheading to a degree only sci-fi writers dared to imagine.”

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

No, you really shouldn't start with your magnum opus. But I think a question you should ask yourself at the beginning of any project is: if something went wrong and this was my last work in comics, would I be happy with it. And I think you should focus on the projects where the answer is yes.
What advice would you give an aspiring comic creator? - 🦝

Two of my longtime irl friends (a married couple) are watching One Piece for the first time and they just finished Alabasta and started Jaya! One of them has been texting me about how much they're enjoying it and it's made me really happy 🥺

The altnps account is the 13th most followed account on Bluesky and has more followers than every single news outlet other than the NYT, NPR and Meidas Touch on here. They actively spread misinformation and exploit gullible old people for cash. Accounts this unethical do not deserve to exist.
Completely insane. AltNPS claimed to know the name of Alex Pretti's killer, refused to say it because "the truth always comes out," and then just deleted the post.

A man was executed on the street in my hometown, and AltNPS is using that as an excuse to vaguepost for attention.

To be clear, I am referring here to Bovino's press conference of a few minutes ago. He told CNN earlier today that the officers would likely be assigned to "administrative duties" in other places, which is both different from what he said later and still not admin leave

fox40.com/news/nationa...
Agents in fatal Minneapolis shooting ‘likely’ assigned to administrative duties, Bovino says
The agents will be taken off the streets in Minneapolis but “remain Border Patrol agents.”

An important point here: admin leave is a necessary and expected minimum response after someone has been fatally shot, even in cases in which there is no real question that it was justified. You just took a life.

bsky.app/profile/toob...
Literally EVERYTHING else aside:

Officers involved in shootings - even shootings that everybody agrees were justified - always take time off to emotionally process their experience, go to therapy, process it.

Sending somebody right back out says "this is an everyday part of your job, expect it."
CBP chief Bovino has confirmed that the officers who executed Alex Pretti in the street yesterday are not only *not on administrative leave,* they have all been reassigned to other jurisdictions and are all on the street today.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting
