Alex Pretti was a 37 year old ICU nurse who put his body between ICE and a woman they were physically assaulting.

First book I read this year.

First Taylor Jenkins Reid book I ever read and I loved it.

The research she did really jumps off the page.

The slow burn romance.

The pacing between timeframes that builds to a well-deserved (for the reader) and well-earned ending (for the author). All of it! 🔭🚀📚
