Listening to classic house music and other varieties and, as usual, you can easily tell from any era what was made by white/white Euro artists and what is/was made by the Originators. There are still jams made by white folks but generally pales in comparison.

Since minimizing social media even further, I'm extremely shocked by the extent to which adults who are fairly aware/intelligent/educated are steeped in it & tend to pull talking points from it. I can tell when speaking w/someone even though I'm now completely unaware of what's going on.

Well, this is pretty much how it’s always been in the U. S. with whitefolks, and still is for a wide swath of ppl. I’ll say again that it’s only really different now b/c Black ppl aren’t the exclusive victims of what is happening. If so, the responses would likely be as they expected.
A big part of the current right wing belief system is that everyone is actually just as bigoted as they are, and are only pretending not to be as a public performance ("virtue signalling").
