I love the reduced to clear cabinet in our local Asda. Pork shoulder joint this morning down from a tenner to £4 odd.

3 hours marinading, 4 hours in the oven and taco'd up with pickled pink onions, rice and tomato.

All while @ouizzi.bsky.social sat crocheting and drinking negronis 😋

It's a lovely walk though, spoiled a bit by some new housing, but in the spring there is loads of blossom that smells amazing.

This time of year with clear skies you get some wonderful starry nights.

And by the time I'm home I've nearly sobered up 😄

Getting the bus to play Padel so I can go to the pub after, then walk home for an hour across the fields in the dark is hitting peak mid 50s fitness regime.

Got my torch and an extra layer so I'm ready for it!
