I knew the new Silent Hill movie was going to be garbage but I'm still amazed it took the most terrifying core of Silent Hill 2 (spoilers: Caretaker fatigue) and decided to just not...do that? But this is the movie franchise that turned Vincent the creepy moderate cultist into a sexy twink.

I like Murderbot TV because Alexander Skarsgaard spends 90% of it looking like a scared little dog and not a 7 foot tall Norse demigod.

CAN MN and Local Schools Book Drive
Red Balloon is gathering donations for Community Aid Network MN and a few local schools who will distribute the books to kids who are currently staying home. We are asking for mostly Spanish titles for ages 0-11. Books can also be purchased online or in-store and donated using the code CANMN20. Monetary donations will be used to purchase books. Community Aid Network MN serves between 200-300 families each week with free food, diapers and supplies, distributing 1,000 items every distribution day. They started during the George Floyd Uprising and are one of the only mutual aid sites still in operation. Their mission is to organize volunteers, redistribute resources, build mutual aid bonds with their neighbors, and ensure everyone has the means for dignified survival. A little brightness for you: A few years back I did some freelance transcription work for medical companies i.e. surveys testing focus groups for potential drug trials, etc. One of these groups were all people with cystic fibrosis. 30 year olds with cystic fibrosis, specifically. This stunned me.

Last night toddler did not want to sleep or let me leave the room. Finally, after dawn, she confessed she was afraid of monsters. I promised her there were no monsters. Just mama. She cuddled up against my chest and fell asleep. Parenthood is exhausting. But it is also a little magic.
