This is probably going to come out wrong, but it’s a fucking bummer that this reads as “powerful,” this should be everybody’s table and everybody’s open door

idc how big your apartment is or how many extra chairs I don’t have; it’s Thanksgiving and we will figure it out
Felder’s heartfelt plea saying to roll up if you want a plate and you putting this out is so goddam powerful. Thanks to you and the entire fullcast community. Sorry if this is too much feelingsball for a Wednesday

this is a major part of what's broken me over the past few months. so many of these people lost their jobs simply for accurately quoting something a man said, while the New York Yankees held a moment of silence for a man who blamed Jews for the "downfall of American culture." shared reality is over.
New: Reuters has tallied job losses, suspensions and investigations stemming from the reaction to Charlie Kirk's Sept. 10 assassination. Its findings: More than 600 Americans have been punished, and the figure is likely to be an under-count.

The government is essentially the mob.

Or Russia. That's where shit like this happens.

Not in free societies.

Their advice is also dangerously wrong! When one group of people must carry papers on them to avoid government kidnapping and disappearing, that means *all* people must carry such papers on them. How else can you show the government you're not someone they should kidnap and disappear?
Email just went out on my campus that the Immigration Goons ("federal immigration agents") will be in town (Raleigh).

Inter alia, it says,"International students, faculty and staff should carry evidence of their immigration status with them at all times."

The fuck kind of country are we living in?

Skyline isn't slop. It's disgusting and shouldn't qualify as food.

It's basically how you know you can't trust the FDA.
I want everyone to post their hometown slop (if you don't have a cuisine that qualifies then your town has zero culture).

Skyline is fine and hits at 3 am just like taco bell lol

All them kids watched James Franklin choke in almost every big game he's had for a decade. Who wants to go play for a loser that can win the ones that matter?

More than that, what parents wants their kids to play for that loser?
think maryland would’ve been the only better spot for james franklin realistically. he’s got his flaws, but he is well known and liked in the areas VT needs to recruit better. there’s some real potential for them to get back to form

This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.
