In addition to giving my cousin and their kids a tour of Angel Island, this past weekend, I continued my civic duty by answering the adults' questions about Prop 50. I urged them to vote for it, explained the stakes, and encouraged them to talk to their friend groups as well.
Just returned from SF where I went with my cousins & their kids to explain the history of Angel Island immigrant landing depot. It's an island off of SF, look how close it is to SF, yet for detained immigrants who were there, it was a world away to getting to the US. Was in operation 1910-1941. 1/

Note blindspot Mike Schmidt creates here.

He argues that Don McGahn (left 10/17/18) and John Kelly (fired 1/2/19) kept Trump in bounds.

He LITERALLY appears ignorant of anything that happened after that, including Impeachment 1, Barr's side channel that framed Joe Biden, & Durham investigation.
To Mike Schmidt @nytimes.com
Why won’t you fucking people call out Trump for what he is. He’s a fascist who is burning down every institution and must be removed from office. Guardrails? You did enough to put him in office by sanewashing him.

If State Farm is truly interested in being a good neighbor, it should be transparent and let the numbers speak for themselves.

Other insurance companies work with us on this, but State Farm has refused.

Without the data, homeowners have no assurance.

BERNIE: “I worry we are increasingly becoming an oligarchic form of society, where a very small # of people control our economy + have huge influence over both political parties. if there was ever a time to stand up for working families and prevent authoritarianism, this is it.”

⁨The blatantly political videos being forced on airports across the country are not only an abuse of taxpayer dollars, but they violate the law.

I'm joining @SenBlumenthal and @SenJackReed to demand DHS take down these videos immediately.⁩

Follow the money… THE VIRAL MAGA ACCOUNTS RUN BY A MAN WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO AMERICA

The right loves the accounts, which often rail against supposed voter fraud. They’re run by a Macedonian who illegally donated to a U.S. House candidate.

Americans lost over $240 million of their hard-earned savings to crypto ATM scams this year.

The companies running these machines profit while doing little to stop it.

We need rules that protect people, not profits and scammers.

A terrific AFP fact check uses reverse image searches to expose how a White House video took scenes from Florida, Texas, South Carolina and Nebraska and lied that they showed "Chicago is in chaos."
