•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus

I also had to research how to get prescriptions from Canada for a friend of the family who can't afford apixaban in the US. I am pretty sure they voted GOP. Boy did I want to lecture them but instead I sent them the cipa.com site and wished them luck. I might check in with them before midterms...

My husband and I had a great night out at an Irish pub with some live music. The bartender mentioned being a libertarian at one point and it took a supreme amount of effort for me not to say, "Oh honey, you're so young. Give it some time and you'll become a socialist too."

I feel thoroughly exhausted. It wasn't a particularly hard week at work. I have been in a boot with tendonitis in my right foot so there's that. And yet the level of tired seems disproportionate. And then I remember that my country is tearing apart families with no due process and it makes sense.
