Truly. As a white Midwesterner, I was so fortunate to live in communities like this. My neighbors stayed up late, but it never bothered me. It was ambient joy. The music, the chatter, the laughter... it was all a lullaby.
I think one of the best things about Bad Bunny’s performance is that it was so *specific*. It so clearly had a point of view coming from real lived experience and actual emotion, actual heart, not cynical calculation. Just beautiful.

Prince is still the SB GOAT, but that was an exhilarating performance. Sent me back to South 4th and Bedford in 1999. Vibrant, transporting and I always felt welcome. That's the best of us.
