So the "most transparent president in history" won't let Jack Smith's testimony become public. He's got them holding back tens of thousands of Epstein documents, haven't seen his taxes, his school records, and no one knows why the East Wing was destroyed before he even had ballroom plans. Yeah.

So last night as I was wondering why Pam Bondi diverted almost 200 National Security attorneys who should be chasing hackers and spies to redact the Epstein files, I remembered that John Eisenberg, who heads it, is the guy who altered the Trump-Zelenskyy transcript.

The reason they're so focused on trans teens is that people who transition younger typically blend into society better. To the extent that they're willing to tolerate our existence in society at all, they'd rather we be easily identified by our appearance/voices/etc.
Cis people really have no idea how it feels to watch a regime hold a press conference to admit, on camera, the pogrom against trans people they've been waging for 11 months is not only real, but they're going to double down on genocide and try to wipe out all the children first.

As we saw with the Abrego Garcia case, once their screwup becomes public, this administration doubles down and tries to destroy the life of their victim with a campaign of slander and brutality. Just watch how they're going to go after this woman and her family.

I wish a single journalist or leader would reach out to me

I have the scientific expertise, lived experience of a trans person, and am literally a science communicator for my career

I'm willing to explain this even though I know it will decrease my personal safety!! bsky.app/profile/jeym...
If any journalist wants to talk to a trans man with a PhD in Human Genomics who was trained in labs that studied the evolution of sex, I'm right here

Or just keep platforming Republicans who have a 5th grade understanding of biology so they get more trans people killed, sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have been working on and off on this story, along with my colleague Rebecca Elliott, since January when I was at Hamm’s Inauguration Day party for Trump at the Hay Adams in DC. It was a crazy event celebrating the return of big oil to power in DC. Yes, Nigel Farage was there.

There has been victory after victory for Hamm and his group, Domestic Energy Producers, in Trump's second term

UGANDA!
Thank you to everyone who has shared this. The hearing is over for today. DHS has filed a motion to pretermit (end Guan's asylum application in the US) and have him sent to Uganda - where he'd be at risk of being sent to China. The hearing to decide that will be held 12 January.
In late 2020 a Chinese man called Guan Heng travelled to Xinjiang with our BuzzFeed map of detention facilities to provide ground truth for our work - he provided the first corroborating evidence for many sites.

He escaped to the US - then ICE detained him.

They can't suggest privatization now because veterans love VA. So they intend to turn vets against it.
